Are you right for Chuck?

Chuck is a 9-year-old gentleman with a lot of love still to give. Since arriving in foster, he's shown a friendly and affectionate side, happily greeting neighbours and new visitors. He enjoys human company and has a medium energy level happy with a stroll in the garden or a calm walk, followed by a relaxing snooze. Chuck can be left alone for a few hours and settles well during that time, making him a great companion for someone who’s at home most of the day but needs a bit of flexibility. He’s shown some interest in other dogs when out and about but will need to be the only pet in the home, as he cannot live with dogs, cats, or small furries.

Is Chuck right for you?

Chuck is looking for an adult-only home with people who have a solid understanding of dog behaviour and handling. While generally friendly, he has snapped in foster when his boundaries weren't respected particularly around furniture like the sofa so he'll need an experienced owner who can read his signals and give him space when needed. A private, secure garden is a must, offering him a safe space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Chuck is a loyal and charming companion who simply needs a calm, respectful environment where he can feel secure. If you’re confident in dog handling and can offer him the structure and understanding he needs, Chuck could be a wonderful match.
