Are you right for Lola?

Lola is a 5-year-old English Bulldog looking for her forever home. She’s a friendly, affectionate girl who absolutely loves people and thrives on being part of the family. With her gentle and lovely temperament, she could potentially live with children and is always happy to greet visitors with a wag and a smile. Lola enjoys her walks and exploring the world around her, though she can get a little excitable at times when out and about. She loves her toys (especially ropes!) and enjoys a good chew, but she understands what belongs to her. Around the home, she’s settled and content and is used to a routine where she relaxes happily while her owners are out. She’s a clever girl who knows a range of commands and responds well once she understands what’s being asked of her. Lola also enjoys being involved in daily life, whether that’s watching you cook from the kitchen floor or keeping an eye on things from the stairs. Lola hasn’t had much experience living with other animals. She can be excitable around dogs and has shown a tendency to chase cats, so she may be best suited as the only pet in the home or with very careful introductions. Lola is currently a little overweight, so she will need a home that can support her with a healthy diet and regular exercise to help her reach a fitter weight. She also has some ongoing medical needs that will require monitoring and routine care, so adopters should be prepared to continue supporting her wellbeing.

Is Lola right for you?

Lola is a super friendly, people-loving girl who will make a wonderful companion in the right home. She settles well when left alone and is housetrained, making her an easy addition to a daily routine. She travels well in the car and enjoys being close to her humans, often choosing to sit nearby and keep you company. She can be a little excitable, particularly on walks or around other dogs, so her new family should be prepared to continue working on her manners and help her stay calm in these situations. While she hasn’t mixed much with other animals, her excitement around dogs and tendency to chase cats will need to be considered. Lola responds well to guidance and would benefit from continued, consistent training to help her be the best version of herself. She’s used to a home environment and will thrive with adopters who can give her time, attention, and lots of love. Lola is a truly sweet, loyal girl with so much to offer, and we can’t wait to see her settled into a home where she can enjoy all the comforts, care, and cuddles she deserves.
