Are you right for Barney?

Barney is a five-year-old bulldog with a big heart and a wonderfully cheeky personality. He’s a gentle boy who likes to take his time getting to know new people and will thrive in a calm, adult-only home where he can build confidence and feel secure. He would be happiest as the only dog, soaking up all the love, and would enjoy owners who are happy to continue his training and help him grow in confidence, especially on the lead. Barney loves getting out for walks and exploring, and while he can be enthusiastic, he’s eager to learn and improve. A secure off-lead area would be perfect for Barney to enjoy relaxed playtime, while public adventures are best enjoyed on the lead. He’s currently on a weight-loss journey and attending hydrotherapy, which is helping him feel more comfortable and active, and his new family will play an important role in supporting him along the way. Once settled, Barney’s fun-loving nature really comes out — he enjoys car journeys and is sure to bring plenty of smiles, laughter, and bulldog charm to his new home. Barney will make a loyal, entertaining companion for the right family

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

Some of the dogs in our care will need to meet potential owners several times to get to know one another. This lets us see you’re compatible and gives you …
