Are you right for Dora?

Cute and wiggly girl Dora is a 2 year old Bichon Frise cross who is full of life and love. She is not super interested in toys, she would much rather spend time with her favourite people. She does a great Meerkat impression, especially when she wants attention, fusses and cuddles are her favourite, she loves a good back scratch and will reward you with lots of kisses. This wonderful little fluffball is ready to find her new home.

Is Dora right for you?

Dora is looking for a home with a loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She will need to have regular grooming, she is looking for adopters able to accommodate this. She is looking for a home with only adults, so she can comfortably build her confidence and have time a space to herself when needed. Dora can be a little worried by other dogs at first and would like to be the only pet in the home so she can have all of the attention to herself, she would benefit from polite and calm walking buddies who will let her approach at her speed and will give her time to build a bond before engaging in play. She has little training under her belt, she could engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat as she can get easily distracted. She would like a home with a private garden to explore and potter at her leisure. She can settle alone so could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this should be built up gradually once she has had time to settle into her new home. Dora will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
