Are you right for Buttons?

Buttons is a seven-year-old Bichon cross Poodle looking for a loving home. He could potentially share his home with another dog, a small to medium sized dog as he can be worried by bigger dogs. He has no history living with cats or small furries or being around livestock. He is instantly friendly around new people and has good history with children, he could share his home with children as young as eight. Buttons is housetrained, and he travels fine in the car. Buttons is a bit worried about being left alone so this time will need to be built up gradually.

Is Buttons right for you?

Buttons is a happy chappie who loves people and greets with enthusiasm. He enjoys socialising with other dogs and would love opportunities to make new doggy pals on his walks. Buttons can be strong on his lead at times, and we can give you some tips to help him with practicing his loose lead walking. He is happy to visit a café or a pub with you and he’ll just chill and watch the world go by. He enjoys playing with toys especially a ball and he likes to enjoy a food puzzle toy such as a Kong; particularly stuffed with cheese. In the home he adores snuggling on the sofa. He is an affectionate dog. He will take the opportunity to counter-surf in the kitchen if food items are not kept out of his reach. He knows a few tricks including a sit, and wait, and is currently learning a down, and an off cue.

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
