Are you right for Olivia?

Olivia is looking for a calm home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She could live with sixth form/college aged children who will understand that she will need time to settle in, who will play with her nicely and give her space to rest when needed. Olivia can find interaction with other dogs very uncomfortable, so is looking to be the only pet in the home so she can enjoy all of her adopter’s attention to herself, she would prefer quieter walking routes so she can explore at her leisure. Olivia is a very clever cookie and already has lots of training under her belt, she knows her name, “sit”, “paw”, “stay” and is fully muzzle trained as she will need to wear a muzzle in the vets. She is eager to engage in training and learn new skills with the help of lots of praise and a tasty treat. Olivia will need to be on a lead at all times in public, so will need a private, secure garden with high fencing to play and bound around in. She can get a little worried being left, she could be left for up to 1-2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Olivia will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home with the potential for home visits to make sure she is settling in nicely, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Olivia right for you?

Clever clogs Olivia, affectionately known as 'Livvy' by the team, is a 5 and a half year old Malinois who loves to learn new tricks to keep her clever mind busy. She is an absolute cuddle bug, who will happily climb onto your lap for fusses and belly rubs. Livvy loves a game of chase! She likes any toy, but her favourites are her soft teddies, she will bound around after them and bring them back to start all over again, if she is feeling a bit overwhelmed she will sit and chew on her teddy to self sooth. This beautiful, cuddle bunny in on the lookout for her new home.
