Are you right for Olivia?

Olivia, affectionately known as 'Livvy' by her carers, is looking for a calm and quiet home with minimal visitors. She is looking for active adopters who can take her on fun adventures in quieter areas away from lots of people and dogs, and who are home the majority of the time, and will give her all the love and care she deserves. Olivia is looking for an adult only home as she can find busier environments quite worrying, and looking for adopters who are willing to come to the centre multiple times to build up a strong bond with her, and advocate for her space in situations she may find uncomfortable. Livvy is looking to be the only pet in the home, so cannot live with or have any visiting dogs, cats, small furries etc. Olivia is a very clever cookie, and loves praise and tasty snacks! She has quite a bit of training under her belt, she does a lovely sit, paw, and down, and is currently learning to comfortably wear a muzzle, which she will be required to wear when out and about on her walks. Livvy is currently also working on settle & mat training & touch & target training, which she would benefit continuing to learn in her new home, with support from our training & behaviour team. As she has lived in a home previously, Olivia is housetrained, but due to staying in kennels for some time she may need a little refresher in her new home, so will therefore be looking for a home with a private garden, with 6ft+ solid fencing so she can relax in her new home. Olivia is very worried being left alone, so is looking for an adopter who is home the majority of the time and can keep her company and make her feel safe, with the potential to build up leaving after she has settled in. Livvy will need to meet her adopters multiple times consistently prior to going home, with home visits once a bond is built to help her settle in, so please bear this in mind when applying.

Is Olivia right for you?

Olivia is a real sweetheart with a sensitive soul, and sometimes find this big world around her a little scary. She's had a bit of a tough start, but is now looking for a loving forever home where she can play and snuggle all day long! She loves going on adventures with her carers and makes a fab adventure buddy, enjoying quiet walks in our secure fields & woodland areas! Once she's built up a bond with you, despite her size, she truly believes that she's a lap dog and loves to be close to you! She has often been seen snuggled up to her carers watching the world go by. She is a super foodie girl, enjoys lots of praise and is keen to learn, so would thrive in a home willing to carry on training with her. Livvy absolutely loves her toys, her favourites being teddies, rubber toys and balls! Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 – 10 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
