Here at Dogs Trust Shrewsbury our dedicated volunteer team work hard along side the staff to care for over 100 dogs each and every day. We can not thank them enough for the 7024 hours of time given to us in 2016.
We have new and interesting roles coming throughout the year so will be looking for people with different interests and experiences to join us.

Volunteer Events Assistant
We are currently recruiting Volunteer Events Assistants to support the smooth running of Dogs Trust events by working alongside staff and other volunteers, to provide a friendly and helpful experience to our supporters and members of the public. We hold a number of events to help us raise funds as well as increase awareness of our work. Our flagship events are our rehoming centre open days and our Fun days, which take place during the summer months, as well as a rehoming centre Christmas Fair. We also hold a number of seasonal events throughout the year and attend local community shows and fairs to fundraise for and promote Dogs Trust.

Volunteer Meet and Greet
We are currently recruiting Volunteer Meet and Greet to support and assist the Receptionist staff at the centre, ensuring visitors receive a warm welcome, and a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
