Dog School Surrey's 700th puppy Lyla

Double celebration as Dog School Surrey welcomes 700th dog on its two year anniversary

Dogs Trust Dog School Surrey recently celebrated the important milestone of welcoming their 700th dog, a 14-week-old Cockerpoo called Lyla.

The newest fluffy recruit to Dogs Trust Dog School Surrey arrived just in time to celebrate the school’s two year anniversary, having opened its doors to pups and their owners in October 2017.

The team of specialist coaches at Dogs Trust Dog School Surrey run fun, positive reinforcement-based training classes for puppies, adolescents, adults and rescue dogs across Surrey. New recruit Lyla is set to learn basic life skills and training alongside her owner whilst having fun in the process.

Head Coach at Dogs Trust Dog School Surrey, Sian Hornigold, said:

“We are so excited about the double celebration of having been open for two years and welcoming our 700th dog through our doors. As a team we love watching owners leave our training classes with a big smile on their faces and beaming with pride because their beloved pooch has learnt something new or mastered something they have been struggling with previously.

“During our course we really see a transformation between owner and dog as they grow to understand each other better and we must admit, it makes us very proud too! We hope that Dogs Trust Surrey will keep going from strength to strength and we will be able to help more dogs and owners within the Surrey area in the future.”
