Emma Wilcox – Newbury Supporter Relations Officer
Hi, I’m Emma Wilcox, the Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Newbury. I joined Dogs Trust in April 2018 and I feel hugely privileged to work for such an amazing team and combine my passion for dogs with my work.
I rehomed Bambi, a three-legged Staffie Cross, within a month of starting my role and she now lives happily with my other dog Bombay, an American Bulldog Cross.
I offer free talks to community and social groups and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one. I can also talk to you about the Canine Care Card Scheme and answer any legacy enquiries. The annual Fun Day is also my responsibility.
An interesting fact about me is that I used to be a child model and appeared in magazines (which my mum still has!).
If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group or are enquiring about the Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies, then please don’t hesitate to call me on 01488 658839 or email me at [email protected]
