Within my job role of Supporter relations officer at Dogs Trust Newbury I get to undertake all sorts of wonderful activities.
Last week I got to do a talk to my biggest group yet and possibly one of the most responsive and friendly to date. Myself and my lovely assistant Bambi got to visit the Basingstoke and Deane over 55’s Forum for a talk and a chance to meet and learn about Bambi and her Dogs Trust journey.
We were overwhelmed with a warm greeting and the turnout was incredible. After watching and hearing about all things Dogs Trust the group were very receptive with many coming to speak to me about all our amazing services we have to offer and of course have a cuddle with Bambi.
It’s truly a fantastic job and getting out and about to spread the news off all our hard work we do within Dogs Trust to such lovely people is possibly the highlight of my role.
If you are interested in receiving a talk to your local community or social group, please do get in touch as we thoroughly enjoying getting out to meet as many people as possible.
