In the spotlight at Newbury - Wendy!
Wendy is searching for her fur-ever friend...
Wendy the Foxhound from Dogs Trust Newbury would love a play mate.
Two-year-old Foxhound Wendy thrives in the company of dogs and is looking for a home with a playful pal who can join her in a game of chase and help her endearing personality shine through.
Nicki Barrow, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, said:
"Wendy is a beautiful girl with a really sweet nature. She loves running around in the compounds with her canine chums, its lovely to watch her having fun. She can be timid but being in the company of another dog really boosts her confidence so we’re looking for her to land her paws in a home where there is already another dog living there.
"She is looking for a quiet home environment but, being a Foxhound, Wendy is looking for an active owners who can get her out and about on interesting walks to put her nose to good use and keep her stimulated.
"She is still young so her new family will need to continue with her training and socialisation but she’s eager to learn and with time she’ll be a fun and loving companion."
Wendy could live with children aged 16 years and would like her new family to visit her multiple times so she can get to know them and build up a bond before going home.
