Volunteer Kennel Cleaner

Dogs Trust Leeds requires hard working individuals to help clean our kennels on a morning. This is a physically demanding role and candidates need to have a  positive approach to the role and work well in a team. Ideally the candidates will have previous kennel experience and experience in using cleaning equipment.

Volunteer Meet and Greet/Reception

Dogs Trust Leeds is looking for a friendly but professional volunteer to be the welcoming face of Dog’s Trust. You will be primarily based in our reception area at the centre and will be the welcoming volunteer to our visitors. You will be knowledgeable about Dog’s Trust and what we stand for and will be able to answer basic questions from the public.

Volunteer Laundry Assistant

Dogs Trust Leeds requires a number of volunteers to operate our Laundry. With over 70 dogs in our care we get through a lot of laundry every day. Ideally we require volunteers in the mornings and early afternoon. Ideally looking for a volunteer who have experience in using industrial sized washing machines and tumble dryers but full training will be given prior to starting the role.

Dog School Volunteer

Dog School West Yorkshire are looking for volunteers to support and assist the Dog School Coaches during training classes. This is very much a support function and volunteers will never be expected to take a class. The aim of Dog School is to help owners to train their dogs in a kind, fair and effective way. This will enhance day to day living and enable the best possible relationship to develop.
