Group walks are one of our favourite things to do here at Dogs Trust Harefield.
It is so lovely to be able to introduce the dogs to their kennel mates and explore the field together. Over the weekend we had 10 of our dogs out in the field together enjoying the sunshine. Some of these dogs were:
In true sighthound style, Arnie is a live wire & a couch potato. He loves to zoom around & then spend the rest of the day reclining. His favourite things are tennis balls & comfy beds! Arnie likes meeting other dogs but would like to be the only dog in the home. He isn't a fan of strangers, but it doesn't take long to win him round.
Frank doesn't want to relax & put his feet up, if you want a companion to curl up on the sofa with you he isn't your guy. Frank wants to do stuff! He wants to be using his brain and taking on new challenges. He's bold & bullish, he is an act now think later kind of guy. He mixes well with other dogs & is usually happy dealing with new places. Often excitement gets the better of him and it takes time for him to be able to interact calmly & appropriately with new people.
Daisy is such a fun dog who loves being with people, playing and having cuddles. She really enjoys learning new things and typical to her breed is very happy if there is a tasty reward at the end!
