Generous donations help Harefield dogs

Volunteers receiving donations

Joan and Tony are some of our wonderful volunteers here at Harefield who take dogs who aren’t coping too well in kennels to give them some home comforts.

Every year over the Christmas period, Tony’s workplace, Metroline Travel, collect an abundance of useful doggie items for us here at Dogs Trust, such as tinned meat and treats, which are great for training! We were overwhelmed with the amount of donations that Joan & Tony delivered from the Greenford & West Perivale Metroline Travel Garages.

The Christmas parcels consisted of:

  • 840 Tins of dog food
  • 112 Small Dentastix’s
  • 112 Medium Dentastix’s
  • 112 Large Dentastix’s
  • 97 Pedigree Chum Christmas Stockings
  • 60 x 120gm Tins of Sardines
  • 60 x 400gm Tins of Hot Dogs (8 hot dogs per tin)
  • 36 Rolls of Webbox Dog Meat
  • 24 x 400gm Tins of Pilchards
  • 16 Boxes of Markies
  • Dry food

We are so thankful to Metroline Travel and Joan & Tony for their dedication to the centre and the dogs here.
