Covid-19 update: our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing, but we’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with measures in place to keep staff and adopters safe. Find out more about how national Covid-19 restrictions are affecting our rehoming procedures and other activity.

Foster Home Appeal

Greg continues to melt our hearts every day as he has really struggled since arriving at the centre. He was handed over to us after his owner passed away and the carer could no longer care for him due to their own health declining, so poor Greg has been through the wars over the past year.

He is a 9 year old golden oldie who is in desperate need of a human hero in the shape of a foster carer. He might have a lenghty stay due to his poor medical condition. He would like to be the only pet in the home so that he can soak up all of the attention that he so truly deserves. Due to his strong attachments that he builds to people, he will need foster carers who are around for most of the day and are happy to have a 23KG lump of love in their bedroom as he finds it distressing when he can’t see you.

Greg cannot use stairs due to a deterioration in his back legs, so will need a foster home have a downstairs sleeping arrangment. Greg doesn’t enjoy car travel, so potential foster carers will need to live no longer than 40 minutes drive away. Greg has his paws firmly crossed that his Christmas wish will come true, and he will be tucked up in a foster home before Santa Paws arrives.
