Long term lodger, Anna-Rose, finds forever home after 8 months at Dogs Trust Harefield

Anna Rose

Last week was a wag-tastic day for us here at Dogs Trust Harefield as we waved goodbye to one of our long termers, Anna-Rose, known to the staff here as Rosa.

The Shoesmith family came into the centre after seeing Anna-Rose on the website. They have previously owned 8 staffies, mostly rescues, and decided that after a few months of being dog-less it was time to hear the pitter patter of doggie feet around the house again! They were looking for a dog who needed a bit more time and understanding, and after meeting Rosa, knew she was the one for them! After multiple visits to the centre, it was finally time for Rosa to say goodbye to staff here at the centre and start her new life with the Shoesmiths!

Richard Moore, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Harefield, said:

"We’re delighted that Rosa has found a loving family, although we were all really sad to see her go as she was such big personality to have in the centre! Rosa was with us a while, but we know she’ll be very happy with the Shoesmith family who tell us she is settling in really well. She’s really landed on her paws."

If you would like to provide a ‘yappy’ ever after for one of our canine residents, then please contact Dogs Trust West London in Harefield on 01895 453 930 or pop down and visit the centre.
