Feeling the festive love

Sandy, Alan, Amber and Harley

We want to say a big festive ‘paws up’ to local dog lovers Sandy and Alan Russell who, along with their family and friends, have stuffed 38 shoe boxes full of Christmas goodies for our dogs at Dogs Trust Evesham to open on Christmas Day – one for every single dog in our rehoming kennels.

Inside each box is a selection of toys, treats, food, collars, leads, harnesses, blankets and jumpers lovingly hand-packed by Sandy and Alan, thanks to their family and friends who dug deep and donated items our dogs will love.

Sandy and Alan lost their beloved Westie, Ema J, back in August at age 18 years, 7 months and 13 days old – totalling 38 when added together and is the significance behind the donation of 38 shoe boxes.

Our dogs have been totally spoilt – thank you so much for helping us to give them a happier Christmas whilst they wait for their forever homes.
