Dogs Trust Basildon seeks homes for howl-o-ween hounds

Clyde the Shar Pei from Dogs Trust Basildon

Dogs Trust Basildon are looking for ‘spook-tacular’ homes for six (not so) creepy canines who are more than willing to do tricks for treats this Howl-oween. Can any of these big bad ‘woofs’ but you under their spell?

Bailey Bailey

Crossbreed | 2 to 5 years | Female

Bouncy Goofball Bailey is a true delight to be around, she is very clever and super comical but also a sensitive soul.

Once Bailey knows you, she will make a strong bond and be your friend for life.

Bumble Bumble

Crossbreed | 1 to 2 years | Male

Big and mighty in stature but soft and gooey in the centre beautiful Bumble is looking for an experienced home happy to continue his training.

He adores squeaky toys and a big comfy bed to snooze on.

Buster Buster

Crossbreed | 8 and over | Male

Strapping lad Buster has the most handsome face and although he is 8-years-old has plenty of life and love to offer.

He loves to build a one-to-one bond with his human companions and will make a loyal friend.

Clyde  Clyde

Shar-Pei | 2 to 5 years | Male

Wrinkly and wonderful, handsome Clyde is a beautiful example of his breed and will be a wonderful addition to a family familiar with Shar Peis.

He loves toys and food and takes his treats very gently from your hand.

Greg Greg

Lurcher | 2 to 5 years | Male

Greg is a sensitive and loyal boy who is still waiting for his forever home.

He loves long walks in the countryside and will need a garden where he can play with toys and enjoy some one on one time with his new adopters.

Teddy Teddy

Jack Russell Terrier | 2 to 5 years | Male

Cheeky chappie Teddy is a lively little lad with plenty to say for himself.

He would love to find a new family who can keep him company for most of the day to begin with and make sure his clever little brain is kept busy.

Rehoming Centre Manager, Lisa Cooper, commented:

“We are hoping that these dogs will get the biggest treat of all this Halloween, a loving new home. All six have wonderful characters and will make paw-fect companions to the right owners. Some of these dogs have been at the centre a little longer than we’d hope, so if you think you can offer them a ‘spook-tacular’ home, the Halloween hounds are waiting to meet you.”

If you think you could show these lovely dogs that the world isn’t so scary this Halloween, please come down to the Basildon Rehoming Centre or give us a call on 01268 214694.
