Can this four-legged Clover be lucky in love at last?

Four-year old Labrador cross, Clover, has been unlucky in love to date, but is hoping that soon it will be her moment to shine.

Having spent nearly all her life in kennels, accounting for nearly 1,000 days, Clover has left the team at the Essex-based rehoming centre baffled as to why she hasn’t been snapped up by a new family yet.

Says Lisa Cooper; Dogs Trust Basildon Rehoming Centre manager:

“Clover absolutely loves a cuddle with her canine carer friends, and we’re at a loss as to why she hasn’t found a new family to indulge her in her love of snuggle time. After having caught the eye of eight different families, but never having made it home, we’re hoping its ninth time lucky for our loveable lady.

Clover is a big fan of spending time with her human friends and would enjoy plenty of visits with a new family before she heads off to her home. Her ideal new home will be one with patient owners who can give her time and space to find her paws and offer her a routine that makes her feel safe in her environment. She has so much love to give that we know she will thrive with the right family.”
