We’re open for general browsing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 12–4pm. Wednesday and Friday mornings are by pre-arranged appointment only.

About the Basildon (Essex) centre
Welcome to Dogs Trust Basildon! We're a happy, friendly team and would love you to come and visit us at the centre to see our fantastic facilities and all the waggy tails of our doggy guests.
We can care for up to 120 dogs at any one time and our facilities include a training barn, veterinary and surgical suite and a dedicated training and rehabilitation unit to enrich the lives of the dogs in our care.
In 2025 we helped 547 dogs find loving homes!
