Sam Davies

I’ve worked for Dogs Trust since 2009 and became the first Supporter Relations Officer at the Basildon Rehoming Centre in 2014. The role is very varied and no two days are the same.

I offer free talks to community groups and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one. I can also talk to you about the Canine Care Card Scheme and answer any legacy enquiries.

The annual Fun Day is also my responsibility and I help with the social media coverage for the rehoming centre too!

My favourite colour is yellow, of course. In fact, my personal car is yellow which shows just how much I like it! The thing I like best about my job is being surrounded by dogs and meeting so many fantastic supporters. My hobbies are dancing (I used to do a lot of Latin American and Freestyle exams and competitions). I also do yoga and am a keen photographer. Finally, a little known fact about me is that I’ve done lots of travelling in Australia, Asia, Europe and Russia and I’m a massive Swiftie (Taylor Swift fan)!

If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group or are enquiring about the Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies, then please don’t hesitate to call me on 01268 535053

or email me at [email protected]
