Kent Lowe - your Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Basildon
Hi, I’m Kent Lowe, the Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Basildon.
I joined Dogs Trust in October 2018 but have worked in the charity sector for many years. Life as an SRO is very varied, and no two days are ever the same.
I have three dogs of my; two very excited Cockerpoos called Eddie and Percy and an aloof, and often moody, Poodle called Jonty. I love nothing more than taking them on long, muddy walks through the woods
I offer free talks to community and social groups and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one. I can also talk to you about the Canine Care Card Scheme and answer any legacy enquiries.
The annual Fun Day is also my responsibility and I help with the social media coverage for the rehoming centre too.
An interesting fact about me is that I am in the middle of writing three novels - which I try to do as much as I can in my spare time.
If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group or are enquiring about the Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies, then please don’t hesitate to call me on 01268 535053 or email me at [email protected]
