Could you give Clyde a home?
Do you swoon over Sharpeis? Squishy-faced Clyde who was abandoned and found wandering the woods, is an adorable boy who’s looking for a new home to call his own. With his cheeky ways and loveable looks, you’ll be sure to fall for him if you meet him.
A Sharpei lovers dream, two year old Clyde is a great example of the breed. He’s energetic, loves to play with toys and enjoys swap games of fetch. He’s very clever and enjoys his training; he’s partial to a treat or two and is always keen to learn in exchange for more cheese! He walks beautifully on lead and will happily stroll along with you. Our training team have been working on keeping his attention when other dogs are around outdoors and Clyde has made fantastic progress with this.
Clyde is looking for a home with only one or two owners as, in typical sharpei style, he’s incredibly loyal. Potential owners will need to meet him several times in order to build that bond with him before taking him home. Clyde would love a garden to play around in, where he can potter off for a sniff when the fancy takes him. He’ll need to be the only pet in the home too as he does like his own space.
Wrinkly and wonderful, Clyde will make a brilliant companion in the right home. If you think Clyde could be the dog for you please give Dogs Trust Basildon a call on 01268 214694.
