Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Virtual Events

Get Active after lockdown with Dogs Trust!

We’ve really missed seeing our pawsome supporters at all the usual events during 2020, and to be honest we have also missed the donations you all raise which helps us look after thousands of dogs every year.

We’re delighted to offer dog lovers three exciting virtual events taking this summer and Autumn. Whether you are runner, cyclist or just enjoy walking your dog, we have the perfect event for you, wherever you are in the world!

You might take part on your own, but these events will make you feel like you’re taking part with thousands of other participants, whilst raising vital funds for the dogs in our care.

What’s a Virtual Event?

Virtual events are exciting events that brings fundraising, fitness, technology and communities together to digitally unite people around a cause. The main benefit is that you can do the event yourself, wherever you are, and in your own time.

Raise over £52 and Sponsor a Dog for a year!

We have decided not to set any fundraising targets for these events, because we know there have been tough times for some of our wonderful supporters, but we do want to reward those that are able to raise funds for our canine companions.

As a special promotion for these three virtual events, any supporters who raise over £52 in sponsorship from their virtual event will sponsor a Dogs Trust dog for a year! You will be able to choose from one of our loveable sponsor dogs and receive three special updates from them throughout the year to let you know about their lives at a Dogs Trust Centre.
