DogFest Christmas at Crystal Palace Park on Saturday 27th November!

Join us for the ultimate opportunity to take part in a Santa Paws Walks whilst enjoy a winter stroll around the stunning Crystal Palace Park.

We've partnered with Dogfest Christmas and have a limited number of free places for the event, so come and join us and raise funds whilst taking part in the Santa Paws Walk!

With each walk, choose between 2km and 5km distances. There’s also a Puppy Socialisation Walk to give you the opportunity to introduce your new addition to other dogs and socialise them in a safe and organised way.

If you raise £50, you will receive your very own Dogs Trust bandana for your pooch!

You can also get all your Christmas shopping done for you and your pup, whilst enjoying some festive food and drink alongside your four-legged best friend, whilst supporting our amazing and vital work.

How do I fundraise?

We recommend that you set up a JustGiving page as the best way to fundraise for this event. Once you have registered, you will be automatically directed to JustGiving to set up your page. If you choose to skip this step, you can always set your page up later by visiting this link and clicking on ‘start fundraising’: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/DTBigDogWalk2021

Is there a minimum sponsorship target?

No there isn’t a minimum sponsorship target and we instead encourage you to raise as much as you can for all the wonderful dogs in our care! If you raise £50, you’ll receive a Dogs Trust bandana for your four-legged friend.

How do I get a bandana?

If you raise over £50, we’ll send you a bandana for your pooch to wear! Unfortunately, we can only send out one bandana once you raise over £50. However, there will be bandanas available to buy at the event if you’d like more than one.

How do I register?

Choose the event you’d like to attend and click on the ‘register here’ button. You will receive a confirmation email with a code and a link to DogFest Christmas website, where you will be able to complete your registration and confirm your place! You will also be able to choose your preferred walk time. Instructions on how to complete your registration will be included in your confirmation email.

You can register up to 4 tickets per form.

What does my ticket include?

All tickets include:

  • A space on the Santa Paws Walk
  • Entry to DogFest Christmas
  • Entry to have-a-go activities
  • Dogs get free entry
  • There are a limited number of exclusive DogFest Christmas festive bandanas for your dog to redeem at checkout (subject to availability)
What if I have more than one dog?

You are welcome to bring more than one dog with you to the event.

Is it going to be covid secure?

Yes! All of the events will be COVID safe and the event organisers have put a number of measures in place to ensure the safety of all humans and dogs attending. Are the walks wheelchair friendly?

Due to the nature, layout and venue of this event, it is not advertised as being easily accessible. The terrain can be uneven on grass, however our Santa Paws Walks will take place on the pathways and therefore are wheelchair and pushchair accessible. We strongly recommend that an able-bodied carer or personal assistant accompany those who require assistance.
