Social Media Competition – Terms and Conditions

Promoter 

The promoter of this competition is Dogs Trust of Dogs Trust House, 2, Wakley Street London EC1V 7LT. Registered Charity number 1167663.

Eligibility

• Internet access is required.

How to Enter

• To enter and be supplied with a code, participants must choose the photo that represents a happy dog out of two options
• Only entries submitted during the competition period and in accordance with these terms will be accepted.
• One entry per person unless otherwise stated. Multiple entries or automated/bot entries may be disqualified.

Competition Period

• The competition opens on 10th March and closes at when the ticket limit has been reached. Max 150 pairs of tickets for adults only entrants.  
• Entries received outside this period will not be counted.

Prize

The prize is a Dogs Trust specific code entitling two free (100% discount) standard entry adult tickets (worth £24) to the 2026 Ideal Home show at Olympia, London.  

• Ticket code can be used for any day during the event period of 10th – 19th April 2026.
• The prize does not include travel, accommodation, food, or any other expenses unless expressly stated.
• There is no cash alternative, and the prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
• The promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances beyond its control.

Selection and Notification

• This is a first come first served offer, when the limit has been reached the offer will close.

Ticket Use & Event Terms  

• Tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of The Ideal Home Show, including any age restrictions and venue rules.
• If the event is cancelled or rescheduled, the promoter is not obliged to provide an alternative prize or compensation.

Publicity and Data

By entering, any personal data supplied will be processed in accordance with the promoter’s privacy notice and used only for the administration of this competition and prize fulfilment.

Liability

Insofar as permitted by law, the promoter will not be responsible for:

• Any entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, corrupted, or incomplete, or
• Any technical failures or issues with social media platforms or internet access.
• Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

Social Media Disclaimer

• This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
• By entering, you release Instagram from any liability related to the competition.

General

• The promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition where it becomes necessary to do so (for example, due to technical or legal reasons) without prior notice.
• By entering the competition, participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
