Winchester is a charming city in the county town of Hampshire, once England’s ancient capital. It is located at the western end of the South Downs National Park, along the course of the River Itchen.

Winchester is well known for its medieval Cathedral which holds more than 1000 years of history, together with The Great Hall of Winchester Castle, famous for King Arthurs “Round Table” that hung in the hall from around 1463. The city also hosts an abundance of statues and buildings such as the Guildhall and the City Mill that bring in tourists and visitors keen to experience a city steeped in such important history.

Our nearest rehoming centre is Salisbury.
