Are you right for Badger?

Badger is a 1 year and 5 month old boy looking for a calm, understanding adult-only home where he can truly relax and be the centre of attention. He can feel worried in some environments like the vets and can be wary of formal handing so he needs patient adopters who will allow him time and space to build trust at his own pace. For this reason, he’s searching for a home with no children or visiting children. Badger has medium energy levels and enjoys a nice balance of playtime and downtime. He loves his treats, which makes them a brilliant way to build a strong bond with him, and he’s a big fan of playing with his toys. He will need his own secure garden where he can feel safe and enjoy some off-lead time. Badger is a loving companion and really enjoys cuddles with his foster family. Badger cannot live with other dogs, cats, small furries, or children, as he needs a predictable and peaceful environment to feel settled.

Is Badger right for you?

In the right home, Badger is a lovely companion who is currently in foster and being a wonderful house guest. He can be confident and excitable, but may also be shy or worried at times, particularly around new dogs, so continued gentle guidance and positive experiences will help him grow in confidence. He can be left for short periods once settled and enjoys having a cosy spot to relax after some enrichment or play. Badger would thrive with calm, consistent adults who are happy to invest time in building a trusting friendship and who understand that sometimes he may feel conflicted and need reassurance. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your home and heart with, Badger could be the perfect match.
