Are you right for Timmy?

Timmy is a sweet and sensitive 7-year-old Greyhound x Bulldog with a whole lot of love to give. With his big heart and playful spirit, he’s always up for some fun—his favourite games are tug of war and fetch, though he's just as happy rolling around and being silly with his toys. Due to his high prey drive and some reactivity towards other dogs and people, Timmy will need to stay on lead and wear a muzzle when out on walks. Because of this, he's hoping for a home with direct access to a secure garden with a 6ft fence, where he can safely run, or roll around, to his heart’s content. Timmy has been worried around young children in the past, so his ideal home will be an adult-only environment, with no children under 16, including visiting ones. If you're looking for a loyal, goofy companion with a ton of love to give, Timmy might just be your perfect match!

Is Timmy right for you?

This playful pooch is able to socialise with other dogs, if introduced carefully, but would prefer a home with no other pets. He is able to be left for up to 2-3 hours a day. As he is a worried soul, he would be best suited to a gentle and patient family who are happy to go at Timmy's pace. Timmy can be quite strong on the lead when he wants to be, so his new family should be aware of this and willing to continue his loose lead training. He is a fabulous boy who has a lot of potential and is going to steal the hearts of his forever family! Please note that his forever family will need to commit to multiple meet at the centre to build a relationship before adoption. Please also get in touch if you'd be interested in fostering Timmy, as he is a total couch potato and is fully house-trained so would love to enjoy home comforts whilst he searches for his forever home. Animal Welfare licence number is AWE02, as licenced by Glasgow City Council.
