Sussex's 'Poutiest Pooch' hoping for model home
Nevermind the catwalk, Dogs Trust Shoreham is appealing to dog lovers to help a model mutt with a perfect pout strut his way into a new home.
The handsome six-year-old Lurcher named Benny Stiller, has been wowing staff and visitors with his best ‘Blue Steel’ impression and has built up quite a fan base since arriving at the Rehoming Centre earlier this month! Although he’s been busy showcasing his good looks to adoring fans across the county, he has yet to scout out his perfect home.
Benny may resemble Ben Stiller’s most famous character Zoolander but unlike the infamous male model, he is no diva and would much rather snuggle up to adoring owners in a home in West Sussex than rub paws with the stars in West Hollywood. Staff are hoping people will spot this leggy Lurcher’s potential to be the perfect family pet and hope he will soon be booked to be the star of a home of his own.
Tracey Rae, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Shoreham explains,
“Benny Stiller is such a handsome boy, in fact, we think he is ‘so hot right now’ and can’t understand why people won’t give him a second look despite all his posing! Despite his pouty appearance, he is a friendly, happy chap who knows there’s more to life than being really, really good-looking - he especially enjoys zipping about in the garden and lapping up lots of attention from his adoring carers.”
“We really hope he can soon “walk off” with the loving new family he deserves. Who knows – he may even pull out “magnum” for the right owner.”
