Dogs Trust Shoreham celebrates Brighton Pride because Love is Love

When it comes to loving their human, to a dog, love is love. That’s why to celebrate and show solidarity for Brighton Pride this weekend (3rd and 4th August 2019), some of the dogs looking for their special someone at Dogs Trust Shoreham have posed with the pride flag. Dogs Trust will also be taking part in the Brighton Pride parade on Saturday.

These are just some of the open-hearted souls at Dogs Trust Shoreham looking for their fur-ever homes…

Beautiful Brindle Benny

Benny is always happy to greet new people. He is an active chap aged 8 and would enjoy a home with owners who have the time to spend with him as he loves one on one attention. Benny loves playing with his toys and this can keep him occupied. He's a bright lurcher who picks things up quickly and likes learning.

Loveable Lurcher Alice

Five-year-old Alice is a sweet Lurcher with a lot of love to give. She's a friendly girl who appreciates the company and affection of her human pals and also enjoys taking some time to herself and relaxing with a tasty chew. Alice is an active dog who will suit a family that can involve her in all aspects of their life and join her on fun adventures.

Sashaying Staffie Simba

Simba is a seven-year-old Staffie with a gentle and loving character. He's friendly, affectionate and adores your company once he knows you well. Allowing him to build up a bond at his own pace will set the foundations of a beautiful, life-long friendship. This handsome boy really cannot wait to find a place to call forever and we're certain he will bring lots of joy to his new family.

Tracey Rae, Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Shoreham, comments:

“To join in with all the people celebrating love in the local community this weekend, we are waving the pride flag and our fabulous dogs are joining in. Benny, Alice and Simba are just a few of the dogs at Dogs Trust Shoreham looking to fall ‘drooly madly deeply’ in love with their fur-ever owner. Once the festivities are over, why not come down to the centre and show our dogs some love and acceptance.

Some of our team are also taking part in the Brighton Pride parade, so keep an eye out for their distinctive yellow Dogs Trust t-shirts against the rainbow flags!”
