Lisa Herbert – Shoreham Supporter Relations Officer

I adopted my first dog in 2002 and was so impressed I decided Dogs Trust was the charity I’d love to work for!  I became Receptionist in 2003 then Supporter Relations Officer in 2014.

I offer free talks to community groups and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one. I can also talk to you about the Canine Care Card Scheme and answer any legacy enquiries.

Organising the annual Fun Day & Christmas Fair is also my responsibility.

I have a 13-year-old Border Collie Cross called Marley May (the May part was added as she’s so often mistaken for a male dog!) We love spending our free time together on the beach or exploring the South Downs.

I am passionate about wildlife and natural history so it’s probably not surprising that Sir David Attenborough is my hero, I also love growing my own fruits and vegetables.

If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group or are enquiring about the Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies, then please don’t hesitate to call me on 01273 466971 or email me at [email protected]
