Count ‘Mac’ular and the ‘Boogie’ Man
Two of our homeless hounds, nicknamed Count ‘Mac’ular and the ‘Boogie’ Man are hoping to find love this Howl-oween. They are hoping they can show off all of their tricks for the ultimate treat— a forever home.
The spooky staff at Shoreham have donned their hats and brooms and conjured up a witchy ‘going home spell’ in their cauldrons in a bid to help Mac and Boogie find a place to call forever.
The beastly Beagle and ghoulish Greyhound met at the rehoming centre and since sharing their kennel space, have formed an unusual, but loving friendship. We would be happy for them to go home together as a pair, but also just as happy to see them venture off into a well-suited ‘haunted’ house of their own.
Far from fearsome, our gentle-giant, Mac, has been described as a ‘true gentleman’ by those who know him. As an ex racing dog, he has spent his life living along side other dogs, gaining in confidence when around them — therefore he’d like to live with another canine in his new home. He is also happy to live with children aged nine and over. Due to Mac's laid back nature, he would suit a quiet and relaxed lifestyle where he can take things at his own pace.
Boogie is a loveable boy with a cheeky character. A fantastic walker on his lead, Boogie is an active chap who loves to be out and about, he especially enjoys using his nose to explore new places. He is a chatty boy and would like new owners who aren’t ‘afraid of the bark’ and will embrace his Beagle nature. He could potentially live with another well-suited canine and would be happy to share his home with teenagers aged 15 and over.
