Handsome Herbie has packed his bags and is ready and waiting for the ‘love bus’ to arrive.
He’s heard that once you’re on board, it’ll take you to your dream destination— a forever home! However, poor Herbie is starting to think that it’s all a myth, as he’s been waiting in line for quite some time.
This loveable Labrador Crossbreed is hoping that luck will be on his side this Valentine’s Day and it’ll finally be his turn to hop on board.
His ideal terminus would be a quiet and calm, adult only home without visiting children or too many visitors. Eight-year-old Herbie would also love a garden of his own to mooch about in and can potentially live with another well-suited canine chum.
He’s been described as a charismatic chap with a laid-back character and is a favourite of many of the staff here at Shoreham. He likes to build up friendships at his own pace, but once you know him well he’ll love to spend time with you and will become very affectionate.
Although Herbie travels well on long journeys, he’s hoping to travel only a short distance on the bus to reach his forever home. His special someone must be willing to visit the centre multiple times to get to know him, and although this may take some time, it will definitely be worth it!
