Team Pawsome at Brighton Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade 2019!
We added some bright yellow to this years Brighton Pride Parade!
On Saturday we were honoured to take part in this years parade, a highlight of the Brighton & Hove Pride Festival weekend, attended by over 300,000 people.
This year was extra special as it is the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Inn uprising that ignited the Pride movement.
Our giant dog Dogcilla got dressed up in her finest rainbow bunting and flags to join us in the parade festivities from Hove Lawns to Preston Park.
We were delighted to be greeted with such warmth and positivity from the crowds lining the streets, Dogcilla got lots of strokes and we lost count of the high fives, hugs and supportive comments we received.
The pride organisers have it absolutely right when they say ‘In addition to the music, floats, bands, costumes and dancing – the parade will carry the message of love, unity, and support for the worldwide LGBTQ+ community that is at the heart of everything that Brighton & Hove Pride stands for’
We all had such a wonderful pride and look forward to joining in again next year.
