‘Shoreham Stars of the Month’ awards

July marks the beginning of our brand new ‘Shoreham Stars of the Month’ awards!

From the first Friday of every month, the Rehoming Centre team will be highlighting the dog who they think deserves the title of: Most Affectionate/ Humorous Hound /Couch Potato/ Sportiest / Golden Oldie and Best of Friends.

But we’d like YOU to help us pick ‘Pooch with the Perfect Pose’.

To have your say, head to our Social Media channels. You can find us on Instagram @dogstrust_shoreham and Twitter @DT_Shoreham.

We will also be adding new categories next month and welcome any suggestions that you’d like to see!

So, without further ado, we’d like to announce this month’s winners!

*DRUMROLL PLEASE*

  • ‘Humorous Hound’ goes to… Jumbles - A charismatic Crossbreed with a lust for life and an active nature — Jumbles loves his toys and is always making his carers laugh with his daily antics.
  • ‘Most Affectionate’ goes to… Silas - This four-year-old Lurcher loves nothing more than a cuddle from his human pals & would love to find a home with owners who are always around to keep him company.
  • ‘Couch Potato’ goes to… Mochi - Big, fluffy & a whole lotta lazy. Mochi is an endearing Chow Chow who is living in a Foster Home — he’d much rather a snooze on the sofa than a long walk in the park.
  • ‘Sportiest’ goes to… Rufus - This three-year-old Collie could easily keep up with Kane and Welbeck — football is his favourite game, but he’s still waiting to score a forever home. Could he be on your team?
  • ‘Golden Oldie’ goes to… Rosie - At 13-years-old, she may be the oldest in our care, but that doesn’t mean she has any less love to offer. Rosie is a sweet Staffordshire Bull Terrier who enjoys the company of people and playing a game of fetch!
  • ‘Best of Friends’ goes to… Alfie and Colin - A pair of pooches who have lived together all their lives— 12-year-old Collie Alfie and six-year-old Terrier Colin are on the lookout for a new home where they can continue their journey as a team.

Head to the rehoming page of our website for any more information on any of our residents. Alternatively, give us a call on 0300 303 0292.
