Meet Lucy: Your Supporter Relations Officer
Lucy Hooper covers Salisbury and the surrounding areas
Hello, I’m Lucy Hooper, the Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Salisbury.
I’ve worked for Dogs Trust since 2013 and being a Supporter Relations Officer at my favourite charity has truly been a dream come true! The role is very varied and no two days are the same.
I offer free talks to community & social groups and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one. I can also talk to you about the Canine Care Card Scheme and answer any legacy enquiries.
The annual Fun Day is also my responsibility and I help with the social media coverage for the rehoming centre too!
I have two dogs: a dinky Staffie X Labrador called Poppy and an ever so tiny Jack Russell X Smooth Fox Terrier called Oona – both beautiful rescue dogs, and the very best of friends! The thing I like best about my job is meeting fabulous, like-minded dog lovers. I also love seeing rehomers meeting their paw-fect four-legged match and taking them home for a lifetime of cuddles and companionship. My hobbies include cooking spicy food (the hotter, the better!) and spending as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors with my dogs – despite what this British weather throws our way!
If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group or are enquiring about the Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies, then please don’t hesitate to call me on 01980 629853 or email me at [email protected]
