Meet Lucy, your Supporter Relations Officer

Lucy Hooper covers Salisbury and the surrounding areas

Hello, I’m Lucy Hooper and I’m the Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Salisbury. I started working for Dogs Trust in 2013, having come from a customer services background.

I can offer free talks to community groups and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one. I can also talk to you about the free Canine Care Card service and answer any legacy enquiries.

The annual Christmas Fair is also my responsibility, as well as attending the closest DogFest event to help with the Dogs Trust Village.

I have two beautiful dogs who are both 12-years-old. Poppy is a dinky Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross and Oona is a tiny Jack Russell Terrier cross and they are the absolute loves of my life. In addition to my passion for dog welfare, in my spare time I enjoy volunteering to help find retirement homes for ex-commercial hens. These days I have become quite proficient in translating ‘chicken chat’!

If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group or are enquiring about the Canine Care Card service or legacies, then please don’t hesitate to call me on 01980 629853 or email me at [email protected]
