Fabulous, multi-skilled volunteers!

Rosemary and Harvey have volunteered for Dogs Trust Salisbury for 19 years

Two volunteers at Dogs Trust Salisbury

Here at the Salisbury Rehoming Centre, we often pinch ourselves about how lucky we are to have such amazing volunteers.

Rosemary & Harvey, pictured here, are now in their 19th year of volunteering as part of our team (yes, you read that right – 19 years!), and they spend one day each week helping to care for our lovely four-legged residents. It’s always been clear to see that their calm and friendly approach really rubs off on the dogs, and makes them feel very relaxed in their company.

When Rosemary & Harvey heard recently we were on the lookout for a helping hand with some grounds maintenance, they didn’t hesitate to offer their time. They have spent a full day this week painting our tired fences, which has given them a brand new lease of life for the years ahead. The dogs certainly haven’t gone without, as they’ve still been here helping to care for them too! It’s hard to put into words how much we appreciate all of our kind-hearted and dedicated volunteers helping us to carry out tasks like this – everything they do helps us to keep our dogs happy & healthy whilst we search for their special someone.
