UPDATE: Our rehoming centres are closed until further notice, however we are now able to rehome a small number of our amazing dogs. Each dog’s profile will let you know if they are looking for a new home. For the time-being, we are unable to register your interest for dogs who are not yet available for rehoming.

Dog lovers ‘suppawt’ makes for record breaking fun day

Dogs Trust Merseyside is celebrating its most successful fun day ever thanks to the support of dog lovers from across the region.

The doggie day out took place at Inglenook Farm in Saint Helens on Sunday 19 May and raised a record-breaking £9,700 with 2,200 people, and their dogs, enjoying the day.

Hundreds of dogs took part in the fun dog show and there was something for everyone with raffles, tombolas, gifts stalls, home made cakes and children’s games for everyone to enjoy.

Aimee Best, Supporter Relations Officer and organiser of the event, said:

“We want to say a huge thank you to everyone that came along to support us on the day and to everyone that either donated gifts for our raffle and tombola, baked cakes or volunteered on the day.

“Every penny raised goes towards making sure our dogs have everything they need whilst they are with us so from them and everyone at Dogs Trust Merseyside, thank you.”
