You may know that part of the role of an Supporter Relations Officer is to give FREE talks to community groups. Since I am based in the Merseyside centre I get to cover the North West of England and North Wales to speak all about the history and work of Dogs Trust. My dog , Freda, also loves to come along and greet everyone with a waggy tail, she especially looks forward to the end of talks when biscuits might be around!
This January was a fantastic start to 2018 which saw us visiting Eaton and Tarporley Women’s Institute, a chat group in Mold, Flint Library, Blackburn Library and last but not least U3A in Southport. It really is great to have the opportunity to get out and about and tell people all about what we do here at Dogs Trust, both locally and nationally. Folk are often surprised at the scope and extent of the work we do to make life better for our canine chums.
