Welcome to our new Volunteer Co-ordinator!
We’d like to introduce you to Caron Bohanna, Merseyside’s new Volunteer Co-ordinator!
Caron has a wealth of experience and joins us from the RSPCA where she spent 19 years, many of those in a similar role to her new post.
Caron has quickly become a part of the team at Dogs Trust Merseyside and is excited to take up the challenge of recruiting new volunteers, as well as managing the fantastic group we already have.
She says “I’m very excited to join Dogs Trust and to get to know all the wonderful volunteers. They are an essential part of the team at the centre and offer so much of their time and it’s a real benefit to the dogs, as well as the staff. I’m looking forward to organising the Christmas events, and helping with next summer’s Fun Day.”
Caron has two rescue dogs at home, a 13 year old poodle named Yin, and 2 year old Cockapoo, Elmo.
Keep your eyes on Dogs Trust’s volunteer webpage for any current vacancies, as Caron will be recruiting shortly, and for any general enquiries you can contact her via email [email protected]
