Raising pounds for homeless hounds

Dogs Trust Manchester is holding a Quiz and Pie Night to raise much-needed pounds for their homeless hounds.

The event will take place at the rehoming centre on Parkway, Denton, on Wednesday 8th November. Tickets, which must be purchased in advance, are £5 with all proceeds going to help care for the dogs.

Visitor Host, Alex Kiami, says:

“On average it costs more than £1,300 to look after each of our dogs before they head off to their forever home and at any one time we have at least 80 dogs at the centre.

“Every penny raised on the night will make sure we can give the dogs here at Dogs Trust Manchester everything they need whilst they are with us.

“We’ve held the Quiz and Pie Night every November since we opened and it’s always really popular so we hope people come along, have some fun and help us raise lots of money!”

Doors open at 6.30pm. The ticket price includes the quiz and a pie supper. Refreshments will also be available. If you would like a ticket please call 0161 337 3609.
