Hopping off to a new home?
Dogs Trust Manchester is hoping that the Easter holidays will find two of its dogs with ears to rival Roger Rabbit, hopping off to their new homes.
Two-year-old German Shepherd Cross Trixie and 18-month old Greyhound, Rocko, never miss a thing at the Rehoming Centre thanks to their egg-cellent hearing.
But it’s not just their large ears that they have in common – they are both full of bounce, love to be on the go and are both longing to finally find their forever homes.
Something else they have in common is that neither like being left alone so are looking for homes where they can be around their two-legged friends most of the time.
Lesley O’Donoghue, Deputy Manager at the Rehoming Centre, says:
“They are delightful and full of fun, but they really don’t like being on their own so will need patient owners who can build their confidence.
“They are both still young so we are really hoping that they find their forever homes soon. They would make great companions for families with older teenagers where they can join in with family life so we, and they, are looking and listening out for their potential forever family this Easter.”
If you think you can offer Trixie or Rocko the home they long for, please contact the team at Dogs Trust Manchester on 0300 303 0292.
