Can Juliet find love this Valentine's Day?
With just days to go to Valentine's Day, staff at Dogs Trust Manchester are hoping that a romantically-named rescue dog who loves to give kisses will find her perfect match in the form of a new owner.
Sadly four-year old Labrador Cross, Juliet, arrived at the Denton-based Rehoming Centre last month after unfortunately her owner could no longer give her the time and exercise this lively girl needs.
Despite her name, Juliet hasn't attracted the attention of a loving new owner and is eagerly waiting for her secret admirer to reveal themselves. Her carers and canine chums alike all have their fingers and paws crossed that she'll be whisked off to her forever home by her special someone ahead of the most romantic day of the year.
Dogs Trust Manchester Rehoming Centre Manager, Dawn Bishop, says:
"Juliet is a sensitive soul who has lots of love to give. She can be shy at first but will shower you with kisses once she gets to know you, so when she finds her special someone, we know she will make them very happy!
"She is a super dog who likes to be around people so she is hoping for a home where someone is around most of the day. She could live with calm children over the age of 16 but would like to lap up all the love so doesn't want to live with a canine companion.
"Juliet does need to learn a few more manners to get the most out of any future relationship as she can be really giddy, but she will be a great companion for the right family. All of us at Dogs Trust Manchester are hoping that this Valentine's Day, somebody out there realises Juliet is their 'pawfect' partner and offers her an adoring home!"
