Lola the black Staffy

This week we’ve been getting to know Lovely Lola!

She’s a super sweet 5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and for some reason she seems to have been getting over-looked here in the centre. We think she’s utterly adorable but sadly she hasn’t yet found her Special Someone.

It’s very surprising because she’s such an affectionate dog and really friendly with everyone she meets. She really loves to play and if you get some toys out her bubbly personality will come bouncing out in an instant! She’d really suit living with a family with children over 11 years old who want a super fun dog to play with.

She also loves getting out on interesting walks. She can sometimes be a little strong on lead, as she just loves having a good sniff around, but she’s perfectly manageable.

Unfortunately she can be worried by other dogs out and about so prefers being walked in quieter areas until her confidence grows. With some training and little time and patience we feel she could really improve on this and our training team would be happy to help with this.

Once she has built a bond with you she is so affectionate and loves to snuggle with her human friends on a sofa, on a duvet, on her bed…basically anywhere! As long as she’s getting all the love she’s happy.

Take a look at the video we captured during our time with her in her kennel, out on a dog walk and playing with her toys and you’ll see just how much this super Staffy has to offer. All she needs is someone to give her a chance.

If you might be the very special someone that Lola is looking for, you can find out more about her on her profile or contact the Dogs Trust Manchester Rehoming Centre on 0161 337 3600.
