This week we’ve been spending some time with one of our smaller residents here at the Manchester rehoming centre.
Gary is a 6 year old Border Terrier who has been with us for a few weeks now and has certainly made an impact on all our canine carers!
His bubbly personality shines through once he’s had chance to get to know you. He’s incredibly playful and completely tennis ball obsessed! He’ll happily play fetch all day long. Although he’s not one for constant cuddles, he does enjoy some gentle fuss and attention.
His training is coming along well and he is learning some basics at the moment like ‘Sit’ and ‘Down’. He really is eager to please if you have some tasty sausage or chicken to reward him for his good work.
Unfortunately Gary is very worried by other dogs so he can’t make any doggy play mates here at the centre. This also means we’re looking for a very special home where he won’t have many dogs around the local area, and where he can walk in quieter places and really enjoy his time out exploring.
Take a look at the video below for a taste of his cheeky character, and contact the rehoming centre if you might be the special someone Gary is looking for.
