Dogs Trust

COVID-19 info: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe.

‘Thank you’ – love from Lucy

Lucy the Lurcher

Lucy the lovely lurcher would like to say a huge thank you for all the donations that we received from recent talks that our Supporter Relations officer, Nicola, has attended over the last few weeks.

It is just a small sample pictured above - the dogs just couldn’t wait to get their paws on everything!

Nicola regularly visits different community groups to tell them all about the work we do both here at Dogs Trust Manchester but also our long and interesting history, different outreach projects, the work in our rehoming centres and much more!

‘Thank you to all the groups I have visited in July and August so far, everyone has been very generous and I left each talk with bags and bags of donations for all the dogs in our care. I really love visiting different community groups, meeting lots of new people and telling them all about Dogs Trust. More often than not after every talk I have done, people will say to me - I had heard of Dogs Trust but I wasn’t aware of all the different things you actually do – it’s great to hear that people are now aware of our work and how they can get involved too.’

If your group are looking for speakers either this year or next, please don’t hesitate to contact Nicola to book your free talk on 0161 337 3605 or email [email protected]

Lucy is still looking for her forever home, you can find out more on her profile page.
