Doggy double hoping for perfect match
As the tennis season gets underway, Dogs Trust Kenilworth is seeking a home for a doggy double who are looking for their love match this Summer.
Furry old-age duo Gromit, 14 and Bramble, 12 are looking for a home where a loving new owner can serve up lots of fuss, cuddles and most importantly, love.
The pair of Crossbreeds are an older duo so aren’t as spritely as the Wimbledon competitors but they do enjoy playing with toys and will happily spend their days enjoying a spot of training, in reward for a tasty treat.
Despite being veterans, they are happy to have short walks but much prefer the quiet life away from the crowds, and love fuss and attention from human fans.
Sandra Foulds, Dogs Trust Kenilworth Rehoming Centre Manager said:
“Gromit and Bramble really are a devoted doggy duo and work really well as a team! They are the best of friends and would love the chance to win the heart of a new owner.
“As an older pair, they are now looking for someone who can appreciate their star potential and allow them to put their paws up in their twilight years. Taking on a doggy duo can be extremely rewarding - whilst it’s double the responsibility, you’ll also find that it’s double the love.”
Both dogs are housetrained so could be left for short periods of time. They are looking for a quiet home and could live with another established dog and with children. They are currently in temporary foster care with the charity’s Home from Home scheme so potential new owners will need to call the Rehoming Centre prior to visiting.
If you think you could give this doggy double the loving home they deserve, please get in touch with Dogs Trust Kenilworth on 0300 303 0292.
