Jane Hirons: Your Supporter Relations Officer

Jane covers Kenilworth and the surrounding areas

Hello, I’m Jane Hirons and I’m the Supporter Relations Officers at Dogs Trust Kenilworth.  I’ve worked for Dogs Trust since 1993 and became an SRO in 2002.  The role is very varied and no two days are the same.

I offer free talks to community groups and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with any local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one.  I can also talk to you about the free Canine Care Card Scheme and answer any legacy enquiries.

The annual Fun Day is also my responsibility, as are some of the other Kenilworth Dogs Trust fundraising events.

I have four dogs – a Pug, a Pug Cross, a Cockerpoo and a Chihuahua Cross - and the things I love most about the job are meeting people, going out and doing events and talks; as well as having lots of cuddles with the dogs of course.

A little-known fact about me is that I once appeared as Prince Charming in a pantomime in aid of Dogs Trust (photos withheld!).

If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group or are enquiring about the Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies, then please don’t hesitate to call me on 01926 486010 or email me at [email protected]
