Chit and Chatter at Cubbington Mill

Find out about Jane and Wincey's trip out into the community.

Wincey from Dogs Trust Kenilworth at Cubbington Mill Care Home

We caught up with Jane, the Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Kenilworth, to find out about her recent trip to Cubbington Mill.

Wincey and I spent a lovely afternoon with the residents and their families at Cubbington Mill Care Home last week. We met their eldest resident Jack at an amazing 104 years of age, who is a life-long Sky Blues supporter and spent his last birthday at a match in a VIP box – fantastic!

We talked all things ‘dogs’ as residents recalled dogs they had owned during their lives, or had known through friends and family. Wincey met and greeted everyone in the room, particularly fond of anyone who had sticky fingers from eating cake!

Thank you to everyone who came to say hello, it was wonderful to meet you all and listen to your stories – there is something quite special about sharing our love of dogs between the generations, something we all had in common.

Love Jane & Wincey x
